Thomas Young was born in Wallasey, Cheshire.

 

He enlisted at Knowsley Park, Prescot, and was serving in the 18th Battalion, The King’s Liverpool Regiment as Private No 300520 when he was killed in action on the 28th March, 1918 during the German Spring Offensive.

 

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial.
